Data Engineer (m/f/d)

The Data Engineer will develop and manage complex ETL/ELT pipelines, connect diverse data sources, and utilize SAP tools to efficiently extract and transform data. They will also support the development and optimization of Data Warehousing in BigQuery and ensure the integrity of data streams through clean coding and regular monitoring.

Requirements

• Bachelor/Master Degree in Business Informatics, Information Technology, Mathematics or comparable
• At least 3 years of professional experience, preferably in industry or retail
• Excellent written and spoken English skills
• ETL development experience, ideally with a focus on CDAP / Google Cloud Data Fusion
• Google Cloud Tools expertise, especially BigQuery and Cloud Storage
• SQL skills at a high level, whether in the cloud or on-premise
• Programming skills in Python for automating processes or implementing complex transformations
• Basic knowledge of Kubernetes (GKE) for containerized data applications
• Analytical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills
