Job Description
- Participate in merchandising sales promoting at customer locations and product launches to boost company branding and product awareness visibility.
- Gather feedback and document reports on product performance, conduct competitor analysis, and provide regular updates on merchandising sales activities and metrics.
- Support company event participation and promotional activities, including attending briefings for merchandising projects, setup, and dismantling displays.
- Collaborate with sales teams and other departments to develop merchandising promotional strategies and create engaging content to enhance visibility.
- Ensure online and offline reporting relating to tracking sales operations involving stock returns, expired products, and damaged goods, and other sales operations to assess overall sales success indicators and targets.
- Oversee installation and maintenance of merchandising visual displays to ensure brand compliance and maximize product visibility.
- Maintain merchandising displays in customers’ stores, ensuring VitaKids products are stocked and priced correctly under sales operations.
- Build good relationships with all customers, management, and colleagues for timely visits, briefings, and scheduled departmental meetings.
- Coordinate to collect sales returns and timely reporting to HQ, obtaining purchase orders for sales promotions and operational support.
- Execute merchandising visual display strategies per brand guidelines.
- Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory management in merchandising operations.
- Communicate regularly with sales teams to align on sales targets and strategies, ensuring all team members are informed and motivated.
- Analyze sales data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement, adjusting strategies as necessary to meet or exceed overall company sales success.
- Develop and deliver presentations to management and stakeholders on administration, documentation records, and organized sales performance and merchandising initiatives to support strategic decision-making.
- Implement corrective measures based on feedback from management, HQ, and brand principals.
- Perform any other additional duties as directed by management.
Requirements
- O level/ITE/Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in Marketing/Business Management or equivalent
- Ability to travel around Singapore
- Strong interpersonal and results-oriented skills
- Detail-oriented with high accuracy
- Good analytical and proactive problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment
- Previous experience in sales operations or merchandising preferred
- Ability to collaborate with marketing and product development teams
- Daily reporting to HQ on merchandising activities
