Senior Data Scientist role at Walmart, responsible for generating insights from data, designing and implementing data-driven models, and collaborating cross-functionally to support product launching.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree or equivalent in Statistics, Economics, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field
  • 1 year of experience in an analytics related field (or 3 years with a Bachelor’s degree)
  • Experience coding in Python
  • Experience with data gathering and preprocessing using SQL
  • Experience with machine learning and deep learning
  • Experience with mathematics, optimization, and statistical modeling
  • Experience conducting exploratory data analysis and visualization using Pandas, Pyspark, Pyplot packages in Python, and Microsoft Excel
  • Experience presenting modeling and analysis results to stakeholders using Microsoft PowerPoint
  • Experience testing and debugging using Python
  • Experience documenting project progress and task statuses in Confluence Pages
  • Experience with model deployment and infrastructure
