Staff Data Scientist

Drives the execution of multiple business plans and projects by identifying customer and operational needs; developing and communicating business plans and priorities; removing barriers and obstacles that impact performance; providing resources; identifying performance standards; measuring progress and adjusting performance accordingly; developing contingency plans; and demonstrating adaptability and supporting continuous learning. Provides supervision and development opportunities for associates by selecting and training; mentoring; assigning duties; building a team-based work environment; establishing performance expectations and conducting regular performance evaluations; providing recognition and rewards; coaching for success and improvement; and ensuring diversity awareness.

Requirements

• Master’s degree or equivalent in Statistics, Economics, Business Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field and 2 years of experience in an analytics related field; OR Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Statistics, Economics, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field and 4 years of experience in an analytics related field.
• Experience with Python, R, Julia. Experience with data manipulation and analysis libraries including Pandas and NumPy. Experience with machine learning frameworks: TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn. Experience with statistical modeling, causal models, and experimental design. Experience with communication and visualization including data visualization tools Tableau and Power BI. Experience with optimization theory, the inner workings of neural networks, and attention architecture. Experience with GenAI, LLM prompt engineering, Fine Tuning using LoRa/QLoRa, and Vector Database. Experience working collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. Experience with cloud computing platforms: AWS, GCP. Experience working with tech leadership. Experience defining problems, models, and constraints from informal and flexible business requirements.
