Wärtsilä is seeking a Sales Manager for its Shaft Line Solutions (SLS) portfolio in the Benelux region. The role involves driving sales, growing market share, and building customer relationships with ship owners, managers, designers, and agencies. The ideal candidate will have a background in sales, technical understanding, and experience in the Marine Industry.
Requirements
- Proactive customer interfacing to generate leads and sales opportunities
- Increase market share of SLS portfolio
- Manage opportunity pipeline and customer visits in CRM
- Update and follow up feedback from customers in The Netherlands, Belgium & Luxemburg
- Build and develop customer relationships in The Netherlands, Belgium & Luxemburg
- Actively engage with other (global) functions and team members to capture opportunities
- Ensure quality of contracts are in line with Wärtsilä policies
- Customer communication and support for running projects in cooperation with Sales Support Team
- Business intelligence and knowledge of the Region
- To grow New build, Spare Parts sales, upgrades & retrofits for all Wartsila SLS portfolio
- Ability to travel approximately 40-50% internationally
