THE TYPE OF CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE – INSIDE SALES SUPPORTER WE'RE LOOKING FOR

We're searching for someone who can meet the following qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Intermediate skills in Word and Excel
• Clear, direct communication; active listening; ability to ask clarifying questions and adapt to different audiences
• Strong problem‑solving (critical thinking, creativity, decision‑making, communication, adaptability)
• Solution‑focused; able to prioritize and manage workload
• Strong knowledge of order fulfillment procedures and administrative record‑keeping
• Skilled at managing multiple tasks simultaneously with high accuracy and attention to detail
• High focus on customer satisfaction; anticipate needs and proactively offer solutions
• Ability to work independently, self‑motivated; set daily goals; manage time effectively
• Ability to type 35+ wpm

Preferred:

• Manufacturing experience

In this Customer Service Representative – Inside Sales Supporterrole, you start by acknowledging incoming purchase orders and processing customer purchase orders entry with precision. You gain comprehensive knowledge of our operational processes and components so you can confidently guide customers. Tracking orders due dates to keep everyone informed, and answering incoming phone calls with professionalism and clarity. Throughout the day, you support Outside Sales Representatives, coordinate with estimating to ensure proper set‑up and processing of initial orders, and follow up on all orders so they're processed on time. When customers request expedites or deferrals, you handle both types quickly and communicate updates. You maintain excellent communication at every touchpoint, support continuous improvement and quality objectives, and lean into additional duties that arise through company, customer, and regulatory requirements, because you take ownership from first entry to final confirmation.
