Job Description

As the Group Director, Revenue Operations, you will serve as the strategic leader for revenue operations. You will partner closely with Finance, Accounting, Operations, and Commercial leadership to drive accurate forecasting and budgeting, optimize profitability and solution yield, ensure revenue recognition compliance, and maintain rigorous controls across deal governance and operational workflows.

Key Responsibilities

  • Represent the business on completion of the annual budgets, forecasts, and operating plans in partnership with Finance and business leaders.
  • Represent the business in financial planning reviews, ensuring alignment between operational plans and financial expectations.
  • Act as the primary operational partner to Finance and Accounting on revenue recognition and financial reporting.
  • Ensure rigorous understanding and documentation of deal structures, terms, and delivery obligations to align recognition with accounting standards.
  • Analyze solution performance to drive optimized pricing strategies and profitability outcomes, provide guidance to day‑to‑day commercial teams on partners, products and media spend optimization.
  • Provide insights into unit economics and solution (product) level performance for leadership decision‑making, including revenue/yield optimization recommendations.
  • Oversee compliance practices related to contracts, vendor agreements, and audit requirements. For the avoidance of doubt, a specialist capability exists within the team for this purpose, but this role would systemize these practices across tools, systems and processes.
  • Establish frameworks and controls to ensure contract governance, deal documentation consistency, and risk mitigation.
  • Partner with Operations leadership to design and continuously improve end‑to‑end business flows, ensuring that our media systems processes are efficient, integrated and ultimately leveraging automation and AI to drive efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Ensure that operational processes support efficiency, data integrity, and cross‑functional collaboration – with fewer errors or data leakage.
  • Implement scalable workflows and tools that enhance data‑driven revenue performance and decision‑making, working closely with our in‑house data, technology and measurement teams as well as the wider group’s technology, legal and finance functions.
  • Serve as a key advisor to executive leadership on revenue performance, forecasts, risks, and opportunities across business operations.

Experience / Skills

  • 7+ years of analytical experience within media environment (sales or agency or industry adjacent).
  • Strong negotiator and advanced numeracy skills.
  • Ability to articulate strategic foundation for their development.
  • Advanced computer skills (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Programming or no‑code experience (UIPath, Power Automate, VBA) preferred.
  • Proven leadership skills and management experience, including managing direct reports.
  • Strategic thinking capability with ability to translate business needs into operational execution.

Salary

The annual base salary range for this position is $164,450 – $18,250. Placement within the salary range is based on a variety of factors, including relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and other factors permitted by law. Additionally, this position is eligible for discretionary incentive compensation.
