Job Description
We are looking for a driven Solar Business Development Executive to identify, develop, and close new business opportunities in the residential, commercial and industrial rooftop solar and battery storage space in Singapore and neighbouring countries.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and prospect new leads for residential, commercial and industrial rooftop solar PV and battery storage projects
- Build and maintain relationships with home owners, building owners, facility managers and developers
- Prepare and present proposals, working with the engineering team on system sizing and BOQ pricing
- Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to contract closure
- Attend site visits and client meetings to understand project requirements (roof condition, load profiles, export constraints, etc.)
- Track pipeline and provide regular sales forecasts and reports to management
- Represent 9 Helios at industry events, exhibitions, and networking sessions
Requirements
- Diploma/Degree in Engineering, Business, Renewable Energy, or related field
- 2 years of sales experience; experience in solar, renewable energy, or B2B/B2C technical sales is a strong advantage
- Basic understanding of solar PV systems and/or battery storage is preferred
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
