Job Description
Compensation, Incentives and Performance
Own the end-to-end payout process and schedule, including plan setup, calculations, checks, approvals, payout, and dispute handling.
Create and manage incentive plans for Revenue Events, including targets, eligibility, payout structures, and clear compensation rules (crediting, splits, clawbacks, caps/floors).
Ensure incentives align with true business value metrics (net revenue, take-rate, retained spend, margin).
Work closely with Finance on calculations, reconciliation, accruals, and payments.
Reporting and Revenue Insights
Partner with the Data Team to build dashboards that track the full player revenue journey.
Align KPI definitions across teams and automate regular reporting.
Run revenue analyses to explain what changed and the main drivers (volume, pricing, take-rate, churn, refunds).
Revenue Events
Define and standardize Revenue Events, including when it counts, and how it’s measured.
Monitor data quality (missing, duplicated, delayed events) and push fixes with Product, Engineering, and Ops.
Risk, Compliance, Trust and Safety
Establish payout controls in place with proper audit trail (approval steps, access controls, audit logs, change management).
Implement guardrails to prevent abuse or fraud (holds, clawbacks, quality gates, risk flags).
Coordinate with Legal and Finance to meet payout and reporting compliance requirements.
Job Requirements
Minimum 3+ years of experience in Revenue Operations, Sales/ Compensation/Commission Operations, Finance Operations, or a related role.
Strong understanding of revenue fundamentals (net vs. gross revenue, take-rate, retained spend, margin) and reconciliation processes.
Experience working in multi-country or multi-market environments.
Advanced proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets, including handling large datasets, complex formulas, and scenario modeling.
SQL proficiency for data validation, investigation, and reporting support.
Experience managing end-to-end payout cycles and designing incentive/commission plans.
Strong operational discipline and attention to detail, with experience maintaining structured processes, audit trails, and change control.
Excellent cross-functional collaboration and communication skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive ownership mindset and ability to operate independently.
High integrity and discretion when handling sensitive compensation data.
