Event Marketing Manager

About the Role

Hitcheed is looking to hire an energetic and highly organised Event Marketing Manager to lead the planning, marketing and execution of our consumer events. In this opportunity, you’ll work closely with the team to organise, plan and execute events from small scale to bigger events held at convention hall. You will also be task and learn about back end operation of online platforms, social media marketing and front end liaising with clients.

The ideal candidate is a strong project manager, confident leader and a marketer who understands how to build excitement around consumer events and turn marketing activity into attendance.

Key Responsibilities

Event Planning & Project Management

• Lead the end-to-end planning and execution of consumer events, from concept development through to event day and post-event review.
• Develop detailed project plans, timelines, budgets and production schedules.
• Coordinate internal teams, suppliers, agencies, venues, sponsors, partners and other stakeholders.
• Own event milestones and ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and to a high standard .
• Identify potential risks and proactively develop contingency plans.
• Manage multiple events and projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
• Lead event-day operations and ensure smooth execution from setup through to teardown.
• Conduct post-event reviews and translate learnings into improvements for future events.

Consumer Event Marketing

• Develop and execute marketing strategies to drive awareness, engagement and attendance for our events.
• Understand our target consumers and identify the right channels, messages and experiences to reach them.
• Work across social media, digital advertising, content, email, partnerships, influencers, PR and other relevant channels.
• Work closely with the content and digital marketing team to develop compelling promotional campaigns.
• Develop event positioning, messaging and promotional calendars.
• Monitor campaign performance and make adjustments to maximise registrations, ticket sales and attendance.
• Identify opportunities to build momentum and excitement before, during and after each event.

What We're Looking For

• 1-3 years of experience in event management, marketing, experiential marketing, consumer marketing or a related field.
• Demonstrated experience managing consumer-facing events from planning through execution .
• Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple workstreams, deadlines and stakeholders simultaneously.
• Strong leadership and people-management skills.
• A solid understanding of consumer event marketing and audience acquisition .
• Strong organisational skills

Having an interest in Weddings, Interior Design, Pets, Korean Wave, Travel, Kids and Fitness events is a plus point.
