The company origins trace back to master shipbuilders who applied their skills in wooden vessel construction to create high‑precision, Western‑style bespoke furniture. Today, the firm remains led by a fourth‑generation owner dedicated to preserving the \”Takumi\” spirit while evolving for a global audience.

Job Responsibilities

The company represents a pinnacle of cultural fusion, blending classic European silhouettes with guarded traditions of Japanese artistry.

The Scope Of The Interim Engagement

  • Brand Positioning: Collaborate with the Owner to define the \”soul\” of the brand for an international audience.
  • Strategic Root‑Setting: Establish brand equity and desire within the Ultra‑High‑Net‑Worth (UHNW) community prior to commercial dealer discussions.
  • Story‑Led PR: Leverage elite media connections to craft deep, narrative‑driven features that reach the most discerning collectors.
  • Market Entry Blueprint: Create the \”Bespoke Playbook\” to guide how the brand interacts with Singapore’s elite interior design and retail ecosystem.

Qualifications

We seek a seasoned luxury marketing leader or fractional CMO with a proven track record of launching very high‑premium brands (home products, furniture, or white goods) and the cultural dexterity to translate Japanese heritage into a local status symbol.

  • Luxury Pedigree: Proven track record in the Very High‑Premium sector (Bespoke Interiors, Haute Horlogerie, or Ultra‑Luxury White Goods).
  • The Bridge: Ability to translate meticulous Japanese craftsmanship into a status‑rich narrative for the Southeast Asian market.
  • CEO‑Level Strategist: Comfortable working directly with founders to craft market‑entry blueprints that prioritize quality and heritage over volume.
  • Impact‑Ready: Seasoned leader or fractional CMO ready to undertake a high‑intensity interim project with lasting influence on the luxury landscape.
