About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Insurance Product & Marketing Manager to lead the development, positioning, communication, and governance of life and health insurance products in Singapore. The role will work closely with Product, Marketing, Compliance, Legal, Distribution, and external agency teams to ensure that all customer-facing and distributor-facing materials are accurate, compliant, brand-aligned, and commercially effective. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of the Singapore insurance market and experience translating product features and regulatory requirements into clear, compelling, and regulator-ready communications.

Key Responsibilities

Product Marketing and Positioning

  • Develop product marketing strategies and positioning for life and health insurance products.
  • Translate product features, benefits, exclusions, and value propositions into clear customer and distributor communications.
  • Support product launches, product enhancements, campaigns, and distribution initiatives.
  • Develop key messaging, customer propositions, sales narratives, and communication plans.
  • Ensure product communications are consistent across all channels and customer touchpoints.

Marketing and Communication Materials

  • Manage the development and review of product-related materials, including:
    • Product brochures
    • Sales presentations and sales kits
    • Product summaries and fact sheets
    • Customer letters and policy communications
    • Application and proposal forms
    • Digital content and website materials
    • Distributor and intermediary communications
    • Campaign and promotional materials
  • Ensure all materials are clear, accurate, customer-friendly, and aligned with approved product specifications.
  • Coordinate content development with internal teams, creative agencies, and other external partners.

Brand Governance

  • Ensure all product and marketing materials comply with corporate brand guidelines.
  • Maintain consistency in brand tone, visual identity, messaging, and customer experience.
  • Establish and maintain appropriate review and approval processes for insurance communications.
  • Monitor the use of brand assets across product, distribution, and marketing channels.

Regulatory and Compliance Coordination

  • Work closely with Compliance and Legal teams to ensure materials meet applicable Singapore insurance regulations and internal governance requirements.
  • Coordinate the review and approval of customer-facing and distributor-facing materials.
  • Ensure product disclosures, terms, conditions, limitations, and DISCLAIMERS are presented accurately.
  • Maintain appropriate documentation and audit trails for material approvals and updates.
  • Support the preparation of regulator-ready materials when required.

Stakeholder and Project Management

  • Coordinate cross-functional reviews involving Product, Compliance, Legal, Marketing, Distribution, Operations, and other stakeholders.
  • Manage project timelines, dependencies, approvals, and launch deliverables.
  • Identify content, compliance, or process risks and recommend appropriate solutions.
  • Provide clear updates to senior stakeholders on project progress and key issues.
  • Support the continuous improvement of product marketing and communication processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Insurance, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • Approximately5–10 years of relevant experiencein insurance product marketing, product communications, brand governance, or a related function.
  • Strong experience in theSingapore life and health insurance market.
  • Good understanding of insurance products, distribution channels, customer communications, and marketing practices.
  • Experience working with Compliance, Legal, Product, and Distribution teams.
  • Demonstrated experience developing or reviewing insurance-related materials.
  • Familiarity with regulatory and governance requirements for customer-facing insurance communications.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to identify inconsistencies or potential compliance concerns.
  • Strong project management, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with product launches or product enhancements in the Singapore insurance market.
  • Experience working with life, health, employee benefits, or protection products.
  • Experience managing external creative, marketing, or communications agencies.
  • Knowledge of insurance distribution through intermediaries, bancassurance, brokers, or digital channels.
  • Professional qualifications in insurance, marketing, communications, or project management.
