Salary placement is commensurate with experience, education, and skills. The current median salary for this position is $168,978.25.

Position Purpose:

Reporting directly to and under the supervision of the President/CEO, the Chief Growth Officer (CGO)’s primary purpose is to assist Universal 1 Credit Union in living out our Vision of “Enriching lives by creating the best possible experience.” Responsible for stewarding the U1 brand and ensuring a consistent, engaging, and values‑driven experience across all market‑facing interactions, aligned with our U1 Values. Responsible for overseeing the Credit Union’s growth‑related functions, including brand, marketing strategy, community engagement, and market development, while driving strategy and continuous improvement throughout the organization.

The CGO is responsible for ensuring a consistent and compelling experience is delivered to members, businesses, and the community. The CGO analyzes market trends, member insights, engagement metrics, and the effective use of data and technology to make recommendations that support sustainable growth and market relevance. The CGO champions brand stewardship, engagement strategy, and effective allocation of resources to support growth initiatives. Supports the President/CEO in the direction of all Credit Union strategies, including strategic planning and the recommendation and implementation of growth‑related programs, initiatives, and approaches.

As a member of the senior management team, the CGO is responsible for ensuring growth and engagement outcomes are aligned with the best interest of the members, employees, and the Credit Union. Utilizes knowledge based on experience in exercising discretion and independent judgment in interpreting policies, guiding market‑facing strategy, and making recommendations as required. Completes routine and independent analysis, reports, and recommendations for continuous improvement. Responsible for growth‑related program leadership and oversight as assigned.
