Overview
Strategic Planning & P&L Management: Develops and implements strategic plans for OTC pharmaceutical business lines, manages sales budgets and P&L for product portfolios with full accountability for financial performance.
New Product Development & Market Expansion: Identifies and evaluates new product opportunities including patent expirations and RX-to-OTC switches; analyzes syndicated market data to identify opportunities and develops marketing strategies including strategic alliances and contract manufacturing partnerships. Must have retail experience dealing with Walgreens, Walmart, target, CVS, and other retailers. Must have Private Label.
Responsibilities
- Sales & Marketing Program Excellence: Creates and executes comprehensive promotional programs including trade show participation, advertising campaigns, promotional materials, displays, and bonus packs; manages promotional budgets and accrual funds to support strategic initiatives.
- Team Leadership & Cross-Functional Collaboration: Builds and leads sales and marketing teams to understand current and future market opportunities; collaborates with regulatory teams and creative resources to develop customer artwork and ensure compliance with all OTC policies.
- Market Analysis & Competitive Intelligence: Leverages syndicated market data analysis tools and marketing analytics software to assess product performance, understand competitive situations, and optimize pricing and distribution strategies across multiple channels.
