OVERVIEW
We are searching for a Director of Sales to join our team on a full-time basis leading the Department for all of our entities including Wishpond Technologies, Invigo Media, PersistIQ, Brax Technologies, Winback and Viral-Loops. This new role is a fully remote position and the successful individual could be based anywhere in Canada. Reporting to Senior Leadership, they will lead global Teams including Lead Generation, Sales Development and Account Executive, ensuring the recruitment, training and service delivery of our Team Members is world-class. Together with their Teams, the Director of Sales Operations is responsible for the continued success of Wishpond Technologies Ltd.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead the sales planning and operational strategy that supports the operations of the Sales Department
- Assist with the design and executive of the strategies, systems and tools that drive revenue growth
- Recruit, mentor and empower the Lead Generation, Sales Development and Account Executive Teams
- Develop and implement training programs across all Teams ensuring operational excellence
- Design and implement strategic development and performance plans ensuring the individuals and Teams reach their targets
- Develop and promote weekly, monthly and quarterly objectives, tracking progress against targets
- Draft detailed and accurate sales forecasts
- Work cross-functionally to increase the value we deliver to our clients and improve retention across the client lifecycle
- Work with clients to better understand their business needs and goals, ensuring Wishpond products and services are part of their plan
- Cultivate lasting relationships to grow Team Member and client loyalty
- Communicate new initiatives, following up to ensure processes are upheld and consistent
- Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
- A minimum of 10 years’ experience in Sales, preferably within a SaaS-oriented operation
- A degree or diploma the contributes to the organization is considered an asset
- Strong recruitment, training, leadership and negotiation skills
- In-depth knowledge of sales strategies and best practices
- Experience in marketing is considered an asset
- Capacity to manage global teams and multiple high-level client relationships
- Must be detail oriented, creative and have a passion for helping clients and Team Members achieve their goals
- Self-motivated with the ability to establish and maintain solid relationships through a client-first mentality
- As part of a diverse team, ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- Must be technical, analytical, results-driven and have the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Organized, great time management and have solid writing, phone, and general communication skills
- Fluent in English (spoken and written). Knowledge of a second language is considered an asset
- Willing to participate in ongoing education and training for the role
This role is expected to work regular business hours based on PST or EST time zones
