As the Health & Benefits Business Development Senior Specialist, primary accountability is penetrating the local market and bringing new clients to the company, generating leads and closing business by developing and managing an active pipeline of prospects, conducting a needs analysis/risk assessment, and presenting and sharing information on our capabilities.
Requirements
- Primary accountable for creating and executing a strategy to penetrate the local market in obtaining new clients
- Meet or exceed revenue targets
- Raise awareness of WTW’s capabilities in the marketplace
- Serve as strategist for clients, ensuring that Health & Benefits design meets client needs and fits within overall client strategy
- Track, analyze and present sales metrics
- Work within relevant compliance and excellence guidelines at all times
- Work closely with Placement in order to negotiate the best offers from the market
- Contribute to client management, retention and expansion once brought on board
- Contribute to the development of new tools and approaches in the client space
- Build relationships with colleagues within and outside the H&B business to effectively collaborate on sales opportunities
- Utilize all sales tools and resources to successfully move prospects through the sales cycle
