As the company continues its global expansion, they are seeking an accomplished Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) to lead their commercial strategy and drive the next phase of growth.
The Opportunity
The Chief Revenue Officer will take full ownership of all revenue-generating functions across the business – encompassing Sales, Account Management, Partnerships, and Marketing.
This is a senior executive appointment requiring a highly commercial, strategic, and hands-on leader who can align cross-functional teams, define a clear GTM and growth roadmap, and deliver measurable results in a competitive, fast-evolving payments market.
The successful candidate will be an inspiring leader with a proven track record of scaling revenue and teams in fintech or payments-driven environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and deliver the company’s global revenue strategy, driving sustainable growth and profitability.
- Lead and align sales, account management, and marketing teams to achieve unified commercial goals.
- Identify and execute new market opportunities, partnerships, and client acquisition strategies.
- Build and embed a data-driven commercial culture focused on performance, accountability, and customer value.
- Partner with the CEO, CFO, and wider leadership team to inform and influence strategic direction.
- Represent the commercial function at board level, providing insights and recommendations based on market and business performance.
- Mentor and develop commercial leaders across regions to strengthen global capability.
Candidate Profile
- Proven experience as a Chief Revenue Officer, Commercial Director, or senior commercial leader within fintech, payments, or financial services.
- Strong foundation in sales and revenue management, with demonstrated success in achieving and exceeding growth targets.
- Experience managing and scaling cross-functional teams including sales, marketing, and account management.
- Deep understanding of the payments landscape; exposure to card issuing or embedded finance is advantageous but not essential.
- Exceptional strategic thinking, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Data-driven and commercially astute, with a balance of strategic vision and operational execution.
