About The Role

This is a detail-oriented and strategic Sales Operations position that supports the growing sales team. This role is critical in optimizing sales processes, managing tools and data, and providing key insights that drive performance and growth. The position can be performed from either the Sugar Land, TX or Newnan, GA office locations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing CRM systems by overseeing tools like Salesforce to ensure accurate data and streamline sales workflows
  • Analyzing sales data by conducting data analysis on sales performance, identifying trends, and providing actionable insights to support strategic decision-making
  • Improving sales processes by identifying opportunities for process improvement to streamline and standardize workflows, reduce inefficiencies, and drive productivity
  • Collaborating with team members including sales, business development teams, operations managers, and stakeholders to align goals and support the sales department
  • Forecasting and sales analytics by developing and maintaining sales forecasting models, creating dashboards for KPIs, and tracking sales targets to monitor team performance
  • Supporting sales initiatives by implementing sales strategies and initiatives to enhance team performance and support sales targets
  • Developing reports and dashboards to generate sales reports, dashboards, and visual data tools to track metrics and provide insights
  • Training and onboarding new sales representatives by providing training on CRM systems, sales processes, and sales tools
  • Implementing automation by utilizing automation tools to streamline workflows and improve the efficiency of sales cycles

Required Qualifications and Skills

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in business analytics, data analytics, information systems and analytics, MIS, computer science or a related field (applicable experience will be considered in lieu of a BS degree)
  • CRM proficiency: Strong experience with CRM systems like Salesforce to support efficient sales processes
  • Communication skills: Strong communication skills for working with stakeholders, sales team members, and business development teams
  • Analytical skills: Excellent analytical skills with strong ability to conduct data analysis and work with metrics/KPIs; advanced Excel skills and experience with BI visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau; experience with Power Automate, SQL, or Python is a plus
  • Detail-oriented and data-driven: Highly detail-oriented with a data-driven approach to sales management and business operations
  • Interpersonal skills: Ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders and sales team members to improve team performance and achieve sales targets
  • Demonstrated ability to proactively initiate and lead sales process improvement or automation projects from concept to implementation
