Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute email marketing campaigns focusing on newsletters to enhance reader engagement and grow the subscriber base
  • Collaborate with the content team to curate and create compelling content for various newsletter segments
  • Utilize email marketing tools to design email layouts, test messages, automate campaigns, and segment lists
  • Analyze campaign performance and subscriber behavior to recommend improvements in content and design
  • A/B test subject lines, images, copy, and calls-to-action to optimize open rates, click-through rates, and conversion
  • Ensure all email campaigns comply with current email best practices, industry standards, and privacy laws
  • Manage the email marketing calendar, coordinating with content, marketing, and sales teams to align newsletters with overall content strategy and promotional activities
  • Continuously explore new ideas and technologies that can enhance the effectiveness of email marketing campaigns

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in email marketing, specifically with newsletters
  • Strong knowledge of email marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp, Constant Contact, HubSpot)
  • Proficiency in analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics) and email metrics
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills, with the ability to craft engaging content
  • Creative mindset with attention to detail
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in online publishing or digital media
  • Familiarity with content management systems (CMS)
  • Skills in graphic design or HTML/CSS for email customization
  • A portfolio showcasing successful email campaigns and newsletters
