Purpose of the Role:

The sales analyst will be responsible for compiling and analyzing sales and market data and providing valuable feedback and actionable insights to guide our promotional and sales activities.

To be successful as a sales analyst you should be able to analyze large amounts of data, accurately project sales trends, identify sales opportunities, and provide practical guidance to optimize sales strategies and increase market share.

Expectations of the Role:

Responsible for the quality and consistency of data and train users.

  • Serve as the in-house CRM specialist
  • Monitoring regularly raw data and clean data
  • Governing the data cleanliness and user behaviour
  • Assisting marketing to conduct desired campaign using the CRM data

Assists in developing and maintaining key performance, and sales metrics for sales management

  • Compiling, analysing, and reporting sales data including regular meetings with BDs on the market/account development
  • Market segments trend analysis including studies phase, therapeutic areas

Providing actionable insights to guide the sales

  • Provide market trend and competitive landscape in order to develop actionable strategy

Financial analysis on the revenue to identify gap and also do a proper budgeting and business plan

  • Communicating and collecting intel/data from regional and local finance and sourcing function to retrieve invoices
  • Communicating with PMs to follow up on the status of studies

Attributes Required:

Must-Have:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 3-5 years of relevant work experience preferred
  • Financial forecasting – effective projection and forecasting skills are also vital in this role
  • Team coordination – because they work with marketing and sales teams to drive revenue growth
  • Data analysis – the ability to assess data sets and identify patterns and opportunities for improvement is the sales analyst’s primary skill
  • Must be customer focused and have excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills
  • Strong analytical, organizational skills and attention to detail

Advantage to Have:

  • Strong time management and planning skills
  • Strong analytical, organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Proficiency in PPT, excel, able to write generic formulas in excel
  • Familiar with data visualization tool such as Tableau or Power BI
  • Great in using AI or search engine to do market research
