Data Engineer

66degrees is an end-to-end AI transformation partner that guides enterprises from complex business challenges to clear, quantifiable outcomes. We are looking for a Data Engineer to lead data management and engineering projects within AWS environments, including migrating, analyzing, and managing data structures, as well as designing, developing, testing, and implementing AWS data solutions.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering, cloud architecture, or data infrastructure
• 3+ years of experience working with AWS
• Experience with AWS managed data services
• Experience with relational databases, legacy database/application migration, and cloud-based databases (BigQuery, Snowflake)
• Proven ability to develop logical data models, ETL/ELT processes, and related documentation
• Mastery of data modeling concepts, large-scale database implementations, and design patterns
• Experience working with structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data sources
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Hands on experience with Python, GIT
• Infrastructure as Code experience (Terraform, Ansible, etc.)
