Financial Analyst

Role Overview

The Financial Analyst will be responsible for maintaining accurate accounting records and supporting monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities. The role requires compliance with local accounting standards and corporate reporting requirements while supporting tax and statutory obligations.

What You Will Do

The Financial Analyst will prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with HGB and US GAAP, manage general ledger accounting activities, and maintain accurate financial records and reporting processes.

Requirements

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, certified accountant qualification, or a comparable professional background.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in accounting, financial reporting, or general ledger accounting, including month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Strong knowledge of HGB and ideally hands-on experience with US GAAP reporting in an international environment.
• Solid understanding of VAT, corporate income tax matters, and statutory reporting requirements, with experience working with external auditors and tax advisors.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems, combined with strong German and English communication skills.
