Product Marketing Manager

Role Overview

The Product Marketing Manager will own the technical and market specifications for the product, determine a product business plan, and lead life cycle management process for the US market. The role will collaborate with internal Marketing and Sales teams to define the marketing plan and lead market intelligence analysis.

What You Will Do

The Product Marketing Manager will be responsible for product profitability and margins, provide pricing teams with updated pricing, and ensure profitability in special sales deals. The role will also collaborate with BDMs and Sales in positioning ABB Drive Modules with new and existing System Integrators, Panel Builders, and OEM’s.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or foreign equivalent degree in electronics engineering, electrical engineering, or a related field
• 3 years of experience working in sales, marketing, and product management
• 3 years of experience in each of the following:
• Working with variable speed drives in the Oil and Gas, Mining, Power Generation, Water Treatment, or HVAC industries
• Applying detailed dimensioning approaches for VFD selections to both simple and complex applications
• Evaluating variable speed drives and their effects on line-side harmonics, heat loss, and efficiency, and motor compatibility based on the drive topology
