Data Engineer

Role Overview

We’re looking for a Data Engineer to strengthen our hybrid delivery teams. Accepted is a software and digital transformation services firm helping clients accelerate innovation in Finance, Energy, Gaming, Telco, and beyond.

What You Will Do

Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines to ensure efficient and reliable data processing; Implement and optimize data models, data storage, and data integration solutions; Perform data profiling, data cleansing, and data transformation activities; Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines to identify and resolve issues in a timely manner.

Requirements

• Proficiency in programming languages with a focus on data analytics (ideally Python & PySpark)
• Minimum 3 years of professional development experience in SQL, ETL & DW
• Expertise in modern data warehousing techniques (Kimbal/Inmon data modeling, Data Vault 2.0)
• Practical knowledge with a Cloud Platform (e.g. Azure, Databricks)
• Solid understanding of Microsoft Business Intelligence solutions (SQL Server, SSIS, SSAS, Azure Data Factory, Power BI)
• Experience with a workflow/orchestration engine (e.g. Airflow, Prefect, Dagster)
• Familiar with Git or other version control tools
• A degree in Computer Science or related field
