Tako is a unified people operations platform looking for an Account Executive to drive sales in a stage of rapid growth. The role will involve closing new business, building and improving the sales process, and working with a team of Business Development Representatives. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets, strong communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic and accelerated work environment.
Requirements
- Sales experience: minimum of 3 years, with at least 2 years as an Account Executive with a sales target and a proven track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
- Ability to adapt and change direction when necessary.
- Experience with CRM platforms.
- Experience in negotiating contracts with C-level executives to close opportunities.
- Programmatic approach to generating and developing leads within designated accounts.
- Ability to thrive in an extremely dynamic and accelerated work environment.
- Ability to learn quickly about our product, ensuring credibility in interactions with prospects.
- Empathetic communication skills, with strong listening and verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage and drive a business from prospecting to closing and beyond, including renewals, upsells, and cross-sells of new products or features.
- Constant curiosity, desire to learn, and enthusiasm to build a career in a rapidly growing startup.
- Proactive nature and ability to work collaboratively, but autonomously: know how to ask for what you need, but don’t wait for micro-management.
- Advanced/fluency in English.
