As an Account Manager – Employee Benefits, you will be responsible for supporting and demonstrating IMA’s core values, client service, and carrier and vendor management. You will also be required to train clients on technology and resources available, create member-facing collateral pieces, and lead in-person, virtual, and telephonic sessions to provide information and plan details to participants.
Requirements
- Attains and maintains state life and health license in accordance with IMA standards
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant field or equivalent job experience
- 5 or more years of relevant experience
- Proficiency with MS office (specifically PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, and Excel)
- Ability to work in agency/client management systems and other related software and technology platforms
- Ability to effectively work independently
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills – written and oral – with the ability to articulate ideas and information in a clear and concise manner internally and externally
- Demonstrates critical thinking and problem solving with the ability to analyze and interpret data
- Ability to present information in a group setting (in person and virtually)
- Excellent organizational skills including the ability to manage multiple projects with variable deadlines and ability to prioritize tasks and to effectively delegate tasks as needed
- Possesses high degree of diplomacy and tact while maintaining confidentiality
