Director of Marketing and Communications

Role Overview

The Director of Marketing and Communications will own marketing, brand, and communications strategy across the company and its affiliated brands and platforms. This is a high-visibility, hands-on role for a marketer ready to take the next step in their career and own a marketing function end to end.

What You Will Do

The Director will develop and execute marketing and communications strategies, lead brand strategy and management, plan and launch integrated campaigns, and manage email marketing, audience segmentation, and automated CRM-driven communications.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or a related field (equivalent experience considered)
• 6+ years of progressive marketing experience, including time at the Marketing Manager or Senior Marketing Manager level
• Demonstrated ability to develop marketing strategy while remaining actively involved in execution
• Strong experience across digital, content, email/CRM, social, brand and analytics, including integrated campaigns across multiple channels, audiences and brands
• Strong writing, editing and storytelling skills, with the ability to adapt messaging for different audiences
• Hands-on experience with CRM and marketing automation platforms, audience segmentation and lifecycle marketing
• Working knowledge of paid digital advertising, SEO/SEM, website management and conversion optimization, with a track record of using data to demonstrate return on investment
• Experience managing agencies, vendors, freelancers or other external marketing resources
• Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and independently drive initiatives forward alongside senior leadership
