Solutions Engineer

Role Overview

We are currently looking for a highly motivated Solutions Engineer to join our Solutions Engineering team in Munich/Germany or Gdynia/Poland. The successful candidate will provide expert knowledge of WDM to the regional pre-sales teams, design optimized solutions, and train pre-sales personnel on products, solutions, and tools.

What You Will Do

Providing expert knowledge of WDM, designing optimized solutions, completing and supporting the technical part of tender responses, providing technical sales material, preparing and delivering customer presentations, and training pre-sales personnel.

Requirements

• Degree, or equivalent, in electrical engineering, telecommunications, computer science or physics
• Working experience in the area of network providers, data centers, system integrators or telco / router equipment manufacturers
• Advanced Knowledge of Wavelength Division Multiplexing (WDM)
• Strong ability to work to given deadlines with short response times
• Excellent presentation and communication skills
• Ability to take fast, autonomous decisions and work on own initiative
• Excellent team worker
• Flexibility to travel worldwide
• Language skills: Fluent in English (both written and spoken), additional languages are beneficial
• A working knowledge of Microsoft office applications
