Aecon is seeking a Data Operations Specialist to manage and optimize data across its entire data landscape. The role involves maintaining and organizing data, implementing data organization standards, and supporting data governance initiatives.
Requirements
- Experience working with cloud data platforms (Azure preferred: ADLS, Azure Storage, Synapse, Databricks, etc.)
- Strong understanding of file-based data management, folder structures, metadata, and data lifecycle concepts
- Familiarity with backup/restore processes, archival strategies, and storage governance
- Ability to work with technical teams (AI, data engineering) and translate operational needs into structured workflows
