Alcon is seeking a Manager, Surgical Product/Brand Marketing – Downstream to define product strategy, develop promotional programs, and implement tactical plans for surgical products. The ideal candidate will have experience in field sales or marketing services in a medical devices/pharmaceutical product portfolio and strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
Requirements
- Define product strategy in agreement with local management and the global marketing department
- Develop and implement promotional programs for promoted products
- Develop brand strategy, promotional campaigns, and tactical plans
- Implement and execute supporting tactical plans and projects
- Conduct market research programs and provide market insights
- Monitor, analyze, and control product performance, brand budgets, forecasts, and expenses
- Develops and implement new product introductions
- Develop strategic plans for key product development
- Support the market planning process
- Coordinate resources in marketing support and training
- Budget and plan for Alcon symposium, peer to peer events and other marketing programs
- Personally manage and build relationship with the most important customers
- Create new Business opportunities through breakthrough insights and execution support
- Drives execution of growth initiatives across key accounts
- Develops and maintains a comprehensive understanding and working knowledge of all anterior/posterior segment procedures and related surgical products
- Develops and maintains a comprehensive understanding and working knowledge of the business aspects of surgical Ophthalmology
- Manage KPIs – market shares, EFA compliance, ATIOL adoption, PCIOL Penetration rate
