Role Overview

Altair Data Resources is seeking a Data Analyst with professional experience in data processing, analysis, and automation to work in an entrepreneurial, high-growth, collaborative environment.

What You Will Do

Conduct analysis, develop and maintain data processing workflows, use Python and SQL to automate recurring tasks, and support analysis and reporting capabilities.

Requirements

• At least two years of professional experience in data analysis, data processing, ETL development, or a related role.
• Practical experience using Python for data cleaning, transformation, and automation.
• Strong working knowledge of SQL, including joins, filters, aggregations, and queries involving multiple tables.
• Experience developing or maintaining ETL workflows and working with relational databases, structured data files, and data quality controls.
• Ability to troubleshoot processing failures, investigate data discrepancies, and implement reliable solutions.
• Familiarity with Excel and reporting or visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
• Interest in leveraging AI-assisted tools to support coding, data analysis, and process improvement.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills, basic knowledge of statistics, and attention to detail when working with large datasets.
• Ability to manage assigned work independently, document processes, explain findings, and collaborate with technical and business teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Data Science, Information Management, Statistics, or a related field, or equivalent relevant professional experience.
