Data Scientist

Role Overview

A data scientist will have skills sets of both data analysts and data engineers, responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining a data pipeline, interpreting and analyzing complex sets of data, and planning, executing, and managing ML projects.

What You Will Do

Design, implement, and maintain a data pipeline, interpret and analyze complex data sets, plan, execute, and manage ML projects, and communicate complex concepts to a non-technical audience.

Why It Might Be a Fit

Must have a combination of skills including programming, mathematical modeling, statistics, and domain knowledge, with proficiency in distributed SQL programming, relational and non-relational data queries, general programming languages, and machine learning techniques.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field
• Master’s degree in Operations Research, Industrial Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Computer Science, or related fields (preferred)
• Proficient with one or more programming languages (Java, C++, Python, R, etc.)
• Proficient in Agile Development and Git Operations
• Demonstrated experience applying data science methods to real-world data problems
• TS/SCI clearance
