Senior Financial Analyst, Corporate Accounting – Global Entity Expansion and Restructure

Role Overview

The Global Entity Expansion and Restructure team is responsible for the centralized accounting function, program management, and consolidated postings for legal entity formation, restructure, and closure. The team sets processes and standards in support of the diligence, document preparation, and leadership approval of these corporate projects.

What You Will Do

As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will work independently to lead projects to support Amazon’s corporate structure, end-to-end accounting ownership for recording and reporting transactions under common control, and identify and communicate project risks to senior leadership.

Requirements

• 3+ years of finance or a related analytical field experience
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field
• CPA
• Knowledge of internal control framework (specifically COSO) to assess control design and operational efficiency
• Knowledge of GAAP research tools and the FASB codification
• Experience in accounting management in Big Four with Fortune 500 clients
• Experience researching and documenting support for accounting conclusions
