The Communications & Marketing Intern works hand in hand with the communications team to develop and craft messaging for the website, news releases, digital content, and collateral, while learning about non-profit, corporate communication processes at the American Board of Emergency Medicine (ABEM).
Requirements
- Junior or Senior college-level degree status in communication, digital media, public relations, marketing, or related field of study.
- Strong creative and strategic thinking skills.
- Team player.
- Interest in healthcare and public health preferred.
- Interest in corporate communications preferred.
- Adaptable and flexible to frequently shift direction and priorities.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to interact with professional contacts internally and externally.
- Interest or experience in digital content platforms and content marketing.
- Desire to learn through curiosity and inquisitiveness.
