Sr Data Scientist

Join Amgen’s mission of serving patients as a Sr Data Scientist. Analyze large volumes of data, develop data visualizations, and communicate insights to stakeholders. Collaborate with compliance professionals to assess risks and identify areas of concern. Telecommute may be possible.

Requirements

• Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics or related field
• 3 years of experience in the job offered or in a data analyst-related occupation
• Use analytics and automation tools and scientific rigor to produce actionable insights
• Build and maintain automated analytics work for internal clients with EBI
• Perform ad hoc analytics as needed and support priority projects
• SAS EBI tools including base SAS, Enterprise Guide, Stored Processes or SAS Portal
• Unix, SAS in Unix environment, Oracle, SQL Server, Tableau and SQL
• Experience with unstructured data
• Processing, filtering, and presenting large quantities of data stored in data warehouse or data lake repositories
• Cloud platforms including Amazon Web Services
• Data visualization tools including Tableau and Power BI
