Risk Data Engineer

Risk Data Engineer will play a key role in delivering reliable, scalable data solutions that support risk management, regulatory reporting, and better risk decisions.

Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience in SAS 9.4 and SAS Viya
• 7 Plus years of experience in the industry
• Advanced proficiency in SQL and data warehousing concepts
• Experience working with Teradata or similar large-scale data platforms
• Sound understanding of data governance, data quality, and compliance frameworks, with experience in supporting risk data, regulatory reporting, and audit requirements
• Proven experience in automation, optimization, and end-to-end transformation of legacy data processes
• Adequate understanding of cloud ecosystems (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Preferred experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) including modern data services
• Hands-on experience using JIRA
• Sound understanding of version control and code repository tools such as GitHub or Bitbucket
• Strong stakeholder management skills with ability to work across global, cross-functional teams
• Exposure to banking or financial services risk domains
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, transformation-driven environment
