Product Quality Manager – Product Operations

Apple seeks a Product Quality Manager to develop and implement quality systems for the iPhone product, leading all in-region quality issues and ensuring compliance to Apple specifications and quality standards. The role requires strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills, with a focus on improving product quality and reliability.

Requirements

  • 10 years technical experience in quality and/or engineering supporting high volume consumer electronics
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical or Mechanical)
  • Experience in product quality management and systems/or operations
  • Good understanding of electronic assembly processes and testing methodologies
  • Working knowledge of statistics, and in-depth knowledge of quality methodologies such as design of experiments, statistical process control, sampling strategies, FMEA, GR&R
  • Experience in failure analysis, data analysis and interpretation
  • Understanding of Metrology, GD&T
  • Understanding of Smart Quality tools such as Tableau, Analytics, ML
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 40%
  • Strong communication skills, with ability to understand and concisely communicate issues
  • Ability to work and multi-task in a fast-paced, technically dynamic environment
  • High energy and highly motivated, with the zeal to drive closure of issues across cultures
  • Written and verbal fluency in English
