We are looking for an Automotive Account Manager to join our Arconic Global Rolled Products Team in Farmington Hills, Michigan. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of customer dynamics and decision makers, excellent communication and selling skills, and the ability to comprehend technical processes.
Requirements
- Develop an in-depth understanding of customer’s decision-making process, utilize optimal solicitation strategies, and recommend/implement actions to obtain sales as a result.
- Secure business opportunities at optimal price levels for the Automotive Commercial Group while establishing contractual relationships as appropriate.
- Take the lead in developing and executing an overall Go-to-Market strategy for their assigned customers.
- Direct and accomplish value added selling strategies for each customer.
- Gain in depth insight into their customers business to provide accurate monthly forecasts for expected volume and revenue.
- Establish close relationships and linkages with all levels of their customer’s purchasing, technical, engineering program and management personnel.
- Establish close linkages with Arconic manufacturing, quality, field service and technical support teams.
