Role Overview
The Salesforce Developer will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining solutions across the Salesforce platform, helping to deliver technology that creates value for students, colleagues, and the wider University. The role will involve working across Salesforce Service Cloud and Sales Cloud, designing and building solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components, and declarative automation.
What You Will Do
The successful candidate will design and develop solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components, and declarative automation, develop and support integrations, contribute to technical solution design, and take ownership of assigned development work. They will also contribute to BAU support, technical investigations, releases, and continuous improvement.

Requirements
- Salesforce Platform Developer I and Platform Developer II certifications
- Salesforce Platform Administrator or Platform App Builder certification
- 5+ years’ professional experience in Salesforce development
- Strong experience developing with Apex
- Strong experience developing Lightning Web Components
- Strong knowledge of SOQL and SOSL
- Strong experience with Salesforce Flow and declarative automation
- Experience developing and supporting integrations between Salesforce and third-party systems
- Experience using Git and version control
- Experience with CI/CD and Salesforce deployment pipelines
- Experience managing Salesforce releases and deployments between environments
- Experience conducting and responding to code reviews
- Experience working within an Agile delivery environment
- Experience resolving BAU incidents and complex technical issues
