Technical Solutions Engineer, Campus & WiFi-focused – Sydney

Arista Networks is an industry leader in data-driven, client-to-cloud networking for large data center, campus and routing environments. We are seeking a Campus & WiFi-focused Technical Solutions Engineer (TSE) to join our Customer Engineering team.

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on experience designing, deploying, and supporting enterprise campus networks.
• Wireless Networking Fundamentals: Strong knowledge of IEEE 802.11 standards (a/b/g/n/ac/ax/be) and RF fundamentals (SNR, RSSI, MCS rates).
• Solid Layer 2/3 Campus Skills: VLANs (IEEE 802.1Q), STP / RSTP / MSTP, LACP, LLDP.
• Advanced Routing & Fabric: Deep understanding of BGP, OSPF, and modern fabric technologies (VXLAN/EVPN) as they apply to high-scale campus architectures.
• Advanced Packet Analysis: Proficiency in using Wireshark, tcpdump, and Over-the-Air (OTA) wireless captures to perform forensic-level packet analysis.
• Exceptional English communication skills (written and verbal) with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to both network architects and junior administrators.
