Role Overview

AVANCO Composites is a leading company in the development, production, processing, and refining of lightweight products made from fiber-reinforced plastics. We are looking for a Business Development Manager to join our team in Herford.

What You Will Do

Your main responsibilities will include strategic development and expansion of the business area, analyzing market potential and trends, identifying business opportunities, managing customers, and achieving sales and revenue targets.

Requirements

• Degree in economics, mechanical engineering, or a related field
• Several years of experience in business development, sales, or project management
• Experience in the automotive / industry sector, preferably with a focus on power train (desirable)
• Knowledge of composite materials (desirable)
• Excellent MS Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, PowerBI)
• Experience with ERP systems is desirable
• Excellent communication skills, a secure appearance, customer orientation, reliability, and self-reliance
• Willingness to travel
• Conceptual and analytical skills
• Secure German and English language skills in writing and speaking
