Senior Data Engineer

As a Senior Data Engineer at AvidXchange, you’ll design and build high-performing data solutions that power analytics, reporting, and business insights across the organization.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent professional experience
• 5+ years of experience in data engineering
• Advanced proficiency in Python and SQL
• Proven experience designing and implementing large-scale ETL pipelines and event-driven architectures
• Deep understanding of data warehousing concepts, dimensional modeling, and modern architectures
• Hands-on experience with Azure data services
• Expertise working within a major cloud platform (preferably Azure)
• Strong understanding of DevOps principles, Git-based version control, and CI/CD pipelines
• Collaborative mindset with strong communication and problem-solving skills
