Role Overview
The Sales Manager is responsible for soliciting and familiarizing themselves with all accounts in their market segments. They work with the Director of Sales to achieve revenue and market share goals for one or more properties.
What You Will Do
Prospect and close on assigned accounts/territory, solicit assigned accounts to achieve or exceed budgeted rooms revenue, and conduct sales specific to Business Travel and/or Groups.

Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent
- College course work in related field desired
- Experience in a hotel or related field preferred
- Valid driver’s license
- Proficient with Windows operating systems
- Ability to convey information and ideas clearly
- Ability to evaluate and select among alternative courses of action quickly and accurately
- Ability to work well in stressful, high-pressure situations
- Ability to maintain composure and objectivity under pressure
- Ability to handle problems in the workplace
- Ability to assimilate complex information, data, etc. from disparate sources
- Ability to work with and understand financial information and data
