Role Overview

Avis Budget Group is seeking a Financial Analyst to join the Americas Financial Planning & Analysis team. The ideal candidate combines strong financial acumen, analytical rigor, and the ability to leverage analytical tools and technology to produce data into clear, actionable insights to drive performance.

What You Will Do

Own and enhance forecasting and models specific to the company’s strategic business units, support financial planning processes, perform variance analysis, and produce executive-ready reporting and presentations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Analytics, Data Analytics, or a related field with a minimum GPA of 3.5
• Ability to work in person 3 days a week in our World Headquarters in Parsippany, NJ
• Strong financial modeling and analytical skills
• Proven ability to create executive-level materials and communicate insights clearly
• High attention to detail with strong ownership mindset
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
• Experience with data visualization and analytics tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, Claude or similar)
• Basic knowledge of SQL, or other data querying tools
• Data-driven problem solver with strong business judgment
• Ability to shorten time spent on tasks with your technical background
