Baseten is hiring a Strategic Finance, GTM lead to be the finance partner to Sales and Marketing leaders, responsible for planning, investing, and scaling the go-to-market organization. The ideal candidate combines top-tier modeling and analytical rigor with operational instincts to drive outcomes in a fast-moving, consumption-based business.
Requirements
- 7-10+ years across strategic finance, GTM finance
- Direct experience with consumption-based revenue models and the planning / forecasting nuances they introduce
- Experience designing or owning sales compensation plans
- Expert financial modeling, top-down/bottoms-up revenue builds, capacity and quota models, and commissions calculation
- Comfort being the finance person in the GTM leadership room, and translating complex financial data into clean, executive-ready narratives
- Proven track record of managing multiple work streams under tight timelines, with best-in-class attention to detail and unwavering commitment to accuracy
- Strong cross-functional instincts with the CRO, RevOps, and individual segment leaders
