We are looking for a Financial Planning and Modeling Manager to lead BC Transit’s long-term financial scenario planning and modeling functions. The role analyzes and communicates the financial impacts of internal and external drivers and supports decision-making related to the development and implementation of BC Transit’s Strategic Plan.
Requirements
- Post-secondary degree in Finance, Commerce or a related field
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) is required
- Five (5) years experience in budgeting, forecasting, scenario planning, and treasury management
- Experience working with financial systems in a mid-to-large sized organization
- Demonstrated experience developing and maintaining multi-year financial models within a medium to large organization
- Demonstrated experience using Power BI or similar business intelligence tools to create dashboards and reports
- Knowledge of data collection and financial analysis methodologies
- Knowledge of database management principles
- Experience applying legislative frameworks and political awareness to complex financial and organizational issues
