As a Senior Data Engineer at Berkadia Services India Pvt Ltd, you’ll be part of the Data Pipeline team building a platform to redefine the Commercial Real Estate industry. You’ll design and build data projects, research new technologies, and coordinate development efforts across the organization.
Requirements
- 5-8 years of hands-on Apache Spark experience (PySpark preferred)
- Hands-on Business Intelligence / Data Warehousing experience
- 1-2 years of experience building high-performance algorithms in scalable languages such as Scala, Python, and R
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Experience mentoring junior engineers and performing code reviews
- Strong logical, analytical, problem-solving, and reporting skills
- Familiarity with Agile principles and methodologies
- AWS Elastic Map Reduce (EMR) experience
- Ability to use version control (git) and other build, packaging & release management tools
