Role Overview
As a Sales Development Representative at Blackline Safety, you will play a pivotal role in generating and qualifying new business opportunities across North America. You will be the first point of contact for prospective customers, working to understand their needs and introduce them to our solutions.
What You Will Do
Proactively identify and research potential customers through outbound prospecting, social media, industry research, networking events, and other lead generation channels. Generate new business opportunities through high-volume outbound phone calls, emails, LinkedIn, and other digital engagement strategies.

Minimum 1 year of experience in sales, business development, or lead generation. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to confidently engage decision-makers across multiple industries.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of experience in sales, business development, or lead generation
- Experience in the safety or gas detection industry is considered an asset
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience using CRM platforms (HubSpot preferred), Microsoft 365, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, or similar sales intelligence tools
- Strong organizational skills
- Self-motivated, coachable, and results-oriented with a growth mindset
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Fluent in English. Additional languages are considered an asset
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
