Bloomerang is seeking an Account Manager Business Development Representative to generate new business opportunities and identify potential upsell opportunities for nonprofit customers. The role requires resilience, creativity, and the ability to keep focused in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
- 1+ year of sales experience (SDR, BDR, or sales internship preferred) or business experience and a strong interest in SaaS sales.
- A passion for helping nonprofits and a desire to understand their challenges.
- A self-starter mentality with the ability to adapt and push yourself every day without relying on warm leads.
- Resilience and persistence—ability to overcome rejection and use it as a learning opportunity.
- Strong communication and storytelling skills—both written and verbal to engage with senior leaders, and handle objections without hesitation.
- A curious and coachable mindset with a drive to continuously improve and ask the right questions to understand nonprofit needs and challenges.
- Familiarity with Salesforce, Outreach, Chilipiper is a plus.
- Ability to actively explore, learn, and responsibly integrate AI tools into daily tasks to drive efficiency and support Bloomerang’s mission.
