Strategic Finance & Business Operations Lead

Role Overview

The Strategic Finance & Business Operations Lead will own the financial and analytical work behind some of Blossom’s most important business decisions and revenue drivers. This is a high-growth startup with a rapidly scaling company that values high trust and autonomy.

What You Will Do

The role involves owning financial analysis and modeling across revenue, growth, unit economics, and strategic initiatives, building models and analyses that inform company-level decisions, and translating complex financial and operational data into clear recommendations.

Requirements

• 2–6 years of professional experience in finance and financial analysis
• experience in investment banking, equity research, private equity, hedge funds, or another rigorous investing/financial environment
• exceptional strength in financial modeling and comfort getting deep into revenue structures, unit economics, and business performance
• track record of outperforming in highly selective, demanding environments
• ability to take a complicated or ambiguous question, structure it quickly, and arrive at a thoughtful answer
• commercially minded, with a strong bias for action and ability to operate beyond the traditional boundaries of a finance role
• ability to communicate clearly and turn detailed analysis into a compelling recommendation
• authorization to work in the United States
• willingness to be in-person in New York City 5 days a week
